Driving In Snow

Whenever it snows some place where snow is rare (like Alabama), the news is filled with stories featuring cars slipping and sliding around because the people there “don’t know how to drive in the snow.” The implication is that someone needs special experience to master this art. I never understood some peoples’ obsession with the zodiac. The zodiac was created by ancient Greeks, and it’s the basis for astrology. The greeks created a lot of other stuff, too, like the Pythagorean theorem. I suppose most people find thoughts about the future to be more interesting than the length of a triangle’s hypotenuse. Food Pollution

What’s the story with this “all natural” peanut butter? I’ll tell you the story—there’s nothing in there but peanuts. Unlike the more “commercial” stuff, it doesn’t contain all that dreaded hydrogenated oil that is strongly linked to heart disease.
