Above The Earth

This is my first blog post from the mothership. It’s nice up here. The Earth is a good-looking planet when it’s far away. All I see is water and clouds and splotches of land. There are no bozo-faced bosses screaming at their underpaid employees. There are no honking horns or belching factories or brain-shattering wars. There are no network news broadcasts shouting out fear and panic.

I hope I never have to go back. I hope they have beer and pizza.
